Since 1998 ABACI has served as the IT management team for the Texas Department of Insurance Special Deputy Receiver program, working with different SDRs in both the liquidation and rehabilitation phases of the receivership process and with companies insuring Worker's Comp, Property & Casualty, Life and Health, and both standard and non-standard auto business lines. While working with 11 receiverships in almost as many years ABACI staff members have had broad exposure to different computer platforms and insurance and financial software packages and has developed the strong analytical skills necessary to quickly understand business and technological environments to provide support to the SDR staff and the Guaranty Funds of many states.
